Job Description:
The Donor Account Coordinator will collaborate closely with colleagues from Funding, Programmes, and Finance teams to identify and manage project funding aligned with the Country Operating Plan and Oxfam’s Country Strategy. This role involves coordinating project design and proposal development, managing project accounts, ensuring compliance with grant conditions, and fostering strong relationships with donors.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the design, development, and submission of high-quality project proposals, concept notes, and expressions of interest. Assign clear responsibilities and ensure input from technical and field teams.

Review proposals to ensure logical consistency, alignment with donor requirements, and quality in language and presentation.

Support inclusive and participatory program design with a gender-sensitive approach.

Assist the Business Development & Funding Manager in mapping and prioritizing donors, developing engagement plans, and cultivating donor relationships.

Manage grant compliance by ensuring reporting and contractual obligations are met in collaboration with relevant teams.

Coordinate and contribute to the preparation and review of donor reports, maintaining full compliance with donor requirements.

Deliver capacity-building sessions for program staff on proposal and report writing.

Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience:

Proven track record in writing quality proposals and reports for institutional donors such as DFID, ECHO, SIDA, DANIDA, BMZ, and UN agencies (UNOCHA, UNDP, UNICEF, UN Women).

Strong attention to detail and excellent writing/editing skills for external communications.

In-depth knowledge of the Yemen Crisis and the complexity of the humanitarian environment is essential.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Commitment to humanitarian values and beneficiary-centered programming.

Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual, and insecure context.

Strong interpersonal skills, including coordination, collaboration, and diplomacy.

Effective time management and ability to handle competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Experience delivering capacity-building activities.

Desirable:

Experience in humanitarian or emergency settings.

Knowledge of technical sectors such as WASH, EFSVL, or Protection.

Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
