The Site Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations at the designated site in Iraq. This role ensures the safety of personnel, facilities, and assets by implementing effective security policies, procedures, and systems in accordance with both local laws and international standards. The manager coordinates closely with local authorities, internal teams, and external contractors to maintain a secure and compliant operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive site security plans tailored to the regional risk environment.
Manage and supervise onsite security personnel, ensuring adherence to security protocols and performance standards.
Conduct risk assessments and regularly update threat analysis based on changing local dynamics.
Liaise with local law enforcement, government agencies, and security contractors to ensure coordinated response capabilities.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and legal security requirements and procedures.
Oversee access control, perimeter security, surveillance systems, and incident response protocols.
Train staff on emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and personal safety practices.
Maintain security documentation including logs, incident reports, audits, and compliance records.
Respond promptly to security breaches or incidents, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions.
Provide regular security status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in high-risk or post-conflict environments.
Strong knowledge of physical security systems, risk management practices, and crisis response planning.
Experience working in the Middle East, preferably Iraq, with cultural awareness and understanding of local conditions.
Military, police, or private security background is a strong asset.
Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or Kurdish is a plus.
