Position Overview: Controller At GardaWorld Security, you will play a crucial role in supervising security operations, ensuring protocol compliance, and organizing responses to incidents.
You will be responsible for the following duties as a Controller:
• Monitoring Security Systems: Keep an eye on access control systems, security cameras, and alarms to spot and address any anomalous activity or security breaches.
• Incident Response: Respond quickly to security alerts and alarms, evaluate the situation, and take the necessary steps, such as calling the police or sending out security guards to the scene.
• Emergency Coordination: As needed, coordinate first responders, staff, and management to handle emergency responses, such as fire, medical, and security situations.
• Record-keeping: Ensure thorough documentation for future use by keeping accurate records of security occurrences, incidents, and actions done during shifts.
• Patrol Monitoring: Make sure supervisors keep an eye on on-site patrols and forward daily patrol paperwork to the control center.
• Coverage: Provide the clerks with daily coverage of all on-site cops, drivers, and area supervisors.
Prerequisites and Qualifications
• Experience: One to three years in security operations or a similar field is ideal.
• Education: A security certification is advantageous; a high school degree or its equivalent is required.
• Gender: This position is best suited for men.
