Brunel is recruiting on behalf of a leading international oil & gas client for a skilled Soil & Groundwater Specialist / Hydrogeologist to support an environmental project based in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive soil and groundwater investigations, including sampling, analysis, and remediation planning, to ensure environmental safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed soil and groundwater investigations to assess contamination levels and environmental risks.

Collect and analyze environmental samples, interpret data, and prepare technical reports.

Develop and implement remediation plans to mitigate soil and groundwater pollution.

Support site closure strategies by evaluating environmental risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Interpret hydrogeological and geological data to support environmental assessments and decision-making.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental engineers and regulatory authorities, to deliver project objectives.

Provide expert advice on groundwater management and contamination prevention in oil & gas operations.
