Angstrom, a leading international medical billing company based in Amman, is seeking a motivated Medical Claims Specialist to join our health insurance claims team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the submission and follow-up of medical claims to ensure accuracy and prompt payments. You will resolve discrepancies, collaborate closely with the billing and collections teams, and assist in obtaining pre-authorizations from insurance providers.
Key Responsibilities:

Submit and manage medical claims accurately to insurance companies

Follow up on claims to ensure timely payment and resolution of any issues

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to claims and payments

Work closely with the medical billing team to support smooth operations

Obtain pre-authorizations from insurance companies as required
Skills & Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in claims processing, data analysis, or related roles (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

Proficient computer skills, especially advanced Excel abilities

Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and workflows in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Analytical mindset to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements

Experience in medical billing is an advantage

Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
