We are seeking an experienced Country Project Coordinator for Libya, based in Tunis, Tunisia. The role will be central in managing and supporting humanitarian and development projects across Libya. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in coordinating complex projects within the international humanitarian sector, excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, and a deep understanding of operational constraints in crisis settings.
Responsibilities:

Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of projects in Libya.

Maintain effective coordination between program staff, donors, and external stakeholders.

Ensure projects adhere to set standards and regulations.

Travel periodically to Libya to assess project needs and operational status.

Monitor project indicators and implement MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) frameworks.

Maintain regular communication and collaboration with donors and partners.

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.

Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for donors, senior management, and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Strong knowledge of the Libyan context and humanitarian or development experience.

Excellent project planning, financial management, and team leadership skills.

Proficiency in English required; Arabic and French highly advantageous.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities, and experience working in complex environments.
