About the Role:
We are looking for a visionary and results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead the prestigious Rixos Baghdad. This leadership position demands a strategic thinker with exceptional hospitality expertise to drive operational excellence, enhance guest experiences, and maximize profitability in a dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all hotel operations including rooms, food & beverage, sales, and guest services to ensure seamless delivery of luxury hospitality.

Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets, cost control, and profitability goals.

Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of department heads and staff to foster a culture of high performance and guest-centric service.

Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, partners, suppliers, and the local community.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, alongside corporate policies.

Drive marketing and promotional activities to strengthen the hotel’s brand presence locally and internationally.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to proactively adapt operational strategies.

Manage budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting with accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record of at least 7 years in senior hotel management roles, preferably within luxury or international hotel chains.

Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and budgeting.

Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to regional challenges.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced qualifications preferred.
