We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Freight Sales Officer to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within the freight and shipping sector. Your expertise in freight services and strong negotiation skills will help expand our market presence and deliver tailored logistics solutions to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new freight sales opportunities in targeted markets and customer segments.

  2. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their shipping needs and provide customized solutions.

  3. Sales Execution: Prepare and present competitive freight quotations, negotiate terms and close sales deals.

  4. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.

  5. Coordination: Collaborate with operations, customer service, and documentation teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  6. Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and prepare regular sales performance reports.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in freight sales, logistics, or transportation industry.

  • Skills:

    • Strong sales and negotiation abilities

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
