Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Field Operations Supervisor to lead on-the-ground activities and support field teams in American Samoa. This role involves overseeing fieldwork logistics, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, and maintaining a high standard of quality and safety across all field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily field operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.

  • Manage and mentor field staff, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.

  • Monitor adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines at all field sites.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams and central management.

  • Ensure timely reporting of field progress, challenges, and outcomes to leadership.

  • Support logistical planning including equipment allocation, transportation, and on-site coordination.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise, making informed decisions under pressure.

  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in field operations, logistics, or site management.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.

  • Comfortable working in remote or field-based environments.

  • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and operational compliance.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in supervisory roles within American Samoa or the Pacific region.

  • Knowledge of local logistics, infrastructure, and cultural practices.

  • Proficiency in report writing and use of mobile field data tools or scheduling software.
