Diplomatic Close Protection Officer

Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly trained and disciplined Diplomatic Close Protection Officer to provide personal security and protective services to diplomats and high-profile personnel. The ideal candidate will have a background in military, law enforcement, or private security, with extensive experience in high-risk environments and close protection operations.

This position demands discretion, situational awareness, and the ability to respond rapidly and effectively to evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver close protection services to assigned diplomatic personnel in accordance with international standards and organizational protocols

• Conduct advance security assessments, route planning, and venue risk evaluations

• Coordinate and execute secure movements, including motorcade operations and secure travel logistics

• Monitor and respond to potential threats or incidents while maintaining a low profile

• Liaise with local law enforcement, embassy security, and host country agencies as necessary

• Maintain operational readiness of vehicles, communication equipment, and protection tools

• Draft security reports, threat assessments, and incident documentation

• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in close protection, military, or law enforcement

• Certification in Close Protection (SIA, PSD, CP, or equivalent)

• Prior experience protecting diplomats, VIPs, or government officials

• Strong understanding of threat environments, conflict zones, and security protocols

• Physically fit, emotionally resilient, and highly vigilant

• Proficiency in tactical driving, first aid, and situational de-escalation

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multi-national teams

• Fluency in English required; knowledge of local language(s) is a plus

• Willingness to travel and work in challenging or remote locations
