Position Overview:
The Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and orderliness within assigned buildings and premises. This role supports a healthy, welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning, waste disposal, and basic maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and public spaces.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain hygiene and appearance.

Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to organizational and environmental guidelines.

Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.

Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to maintenance staff.

Ensure safety standards are met by following proper cleaning procedures and using equipment responsibly.

Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture or equipment for events or meetings.

Respond promptly to emergency cleaning or spill situations.
Qualifications:

Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
