Position Overview:
As the CBD Country Manager for Qatar, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and operational execution of our CBD product portfolio in this emerging and rapidly evolving market. You will play a key role in establishing and strengthening our brand presence, overseeing sales performance, managing regulatory compliance, and fostering long-term partnerships with stakeholders including distributors, retailers, government bodies, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive country strategy aligned with Unilever’s global vision and local market dynamics, focusing on the CBD segment.

Lead all commercial activities including sales, marketing, distribution, and customer engagement to maximize market share and profitability.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, government authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, legal, regulatory affairs, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of business plans.

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to achieve targets and optimize resource allocation.

Mentor and develop local team members, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.

Represent Unilever at industry events, trade shows, and relevant forums to enhance brand visibility and influence policy discussions.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in country or regional management, business development, or sales leadership roles within the CBD, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or wellness sectors.

Strong knowledge of the CBD industry, regulatory environment, and market trends in the Middle East, particularly Qatar.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver sustainable business growth.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with experience managing cross-cultural teams.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
