We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Banquet and Events Sales Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and sales of banquet functions and events. This role is responsible for driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of events that meet and exceed client expectations. You will work closely with the catering, kitchen, and operations teams to deliver memorable experiences for guests and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for banquets, conferences, weddings, and corporate events.

  2. Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing event requirements from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up.

  3. Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics, menus, layouts, and service delivery for each event.

  4. Revenue Management: Meet or exceed banquet sales targets and contribute to the overall financial performance of the department.

  5. Contract Management: Prepare detailed proposals and contracts, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure all event documentation is accurate.

  6. Market Research: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and service offerings.

  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, banquet staff, and service teams to ensure the successful execution of events.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in banquet sales, event coordination, or hospitality management.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    • Negotiation and customer service expertise

    • Proficient in event management and CRM software

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
